Who is this who shines like the dawn, as fair as the moon, as bright as the sun, as majestic as the stars in procession? — Song of Solomon 6:10The church is described as fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners. Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle. He purchased her with His own blood. Even the righteousness she wears is not her own — it's the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. The bride has made herself ready, and the marriage supper of the Lamb has come.
