Evening — April 4 — Psalm 61:2

From the ends of the earth I call out to You whenever my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:2When your heart is overwhelmed, there's only one place to go — to the Rock that's higher than you are. You can't climb your way up to safety on your own. Christ is that Rock, a strength to the poor and a refuge from the storm. No one can snatch you out of His hand, and this hope is an anchor for the soul, both sure and steadfast, entering the presence behind the veil. Cast all your anxiety on Him — He cares for you.
