Evening — August 29 — Psalm 4:8

I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. — Psalm 4:8You can close your eyes at night without fear because the Lord Himself keeps you safe. He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over you, and nothing can pluck you from His hand; even the darkest midnight is as light to Him, and He covers you with His feathers. So rest, child of God—you belong to Christ, and the One who holds the universe holds you too.
