Evening — December 30 — 1 Samuel 2:9

He guards the steps of His faithful ones, but the wicked perish in darkness; for by his own strength shall no man prevail. — 1 Samuel 2:9God keeps the feet of his saints — that's hannah's confident declaration, and it's still true: he won't let his people fall ultimately. But the feet he keeps are feet that walk in the light. You've been washed completely by Christ; now walk the path of wisdom and don't turn aside. Paul knew it well: 'the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for his heavenly kingdom'. Your security is in him, so walk confidently but walk carefully.
