Evening — February 1 — Jeremiah 23:6

In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is His name by which He will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness. — Jeremiah 23:6God's verdict over His people rests on a righteousness that comes entirely from outside us. Christ's perfect obedience is credited to every believer, so the Father sees us as righteous in His Son. This imputed righteousness transforms both our identity and our assurance, freeing us from the terror of our own filthy works.
