Evening — February 10 — Psalm 78:20

When He struck the rock, water gushed out and torrents raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?” — Psalm 78:20True satisfaction is found only in the person of Christ, who alone provides the sustenance the human heart desperately seeks. Every worldly pursuit is a broken cistern that cannot hold the living water only God gives. Because the Son was pierced in history for our sins, eternal life now flows freely to all who come to Him.
