Evening — February 16 — 2 Corinthians 5:4

So while we are in this tent, we groan under our burdens, because we do not wish to be unclothed but clothed, so that our mortality may be swallowed up by life. — 2 Corinthians 5:4We groan under the burden of this tent, yet our groaning is never hidden from God. Honest lament is the Spirit-born ache for the life that swallows death. Because Christ clothes the perishable with the imperishable, every sigh already echoes with coming joy.
