When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth. — Genesis 5:3Humanity's problem is not bad choices but an inherited corruption traced from Adam's likeness into every child, making moral repair impossible from within. The gospel announces a new creation that arrives entirely from outside our bloodline — the obedience and victory of the second Adam, Jesus Christ. Where human lineage transmits death, the Spirit's law of life liberates believers through union with Him. Thus God's grace does not supplement human goodness; it overwhelms human uncleanness.
