Evening — February 21 — Psalm 97:11

Light shines on the righteous, gladness on the upright in heart. — Psalm 97:11God has decreed that the sorrows of His people are never wasted but are the very soil out of which He brings certain joy. Because believers are united to the risen Christ, their present tears carry the promise of a guaranteed harvest. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is already at work, making every bitter sowing a seed of future gladness.
