Evening — February 24 — Job 2:10

“You speak as a foolish woman speaks,” he told her. “Should we accept from God only good and not adversity?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said. — Job 2:10True submission acknowledges that God's authority is not contingent upon the comfort of our circumstances. Affliction is a tool of the Potter, shaping the soul into the image of the Son. This shifts focus from the pain of the moment to the ultimate purpose of conformity to Christ.
