Evening — February 4 — Psalm 69:26

For they persecute the one You struck and recount the pain of those You wounded. — Psalm 69:26Because God's anger toward His people is measured and purposeful, human cruelty has no place in His community. The church exists to mirror God's restorative heart, never to multiply the pain of the already wounded. When believers punish beyond measure, they misunderstand the gospel of grace. Even divine discipline aims at healing, not destruction.
