Evening — February 8 — Isaiah 60:18

No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. — Isaiah 60:18The security of God's people rests entirely on His saving work, not on any defense they build for themselves. The Spirit joins every believer into one dwelling place, anchored to the historical witness of the apostles, so that God lives among His redeemed in Christ. Because salvation is wholly God's doing, the lasting climate of the redeemed life is praise.
