Evening — February 9 — John 9:4

While it is daytime, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. — John 9:4Believers are so joined to Christ that His mission becomes their daily work, and their toil carries eternal meaning. To die in the Lord is to enter His Sabbath rest while the fruit of that union follows into glory. The present urgency becomes a privilege when believers labor with Christ, whose rest is already theirs.
