Evening — January 16 — Revelation 1:19

Therefore write down the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that will happen after this. — Revelation 1:19Faith in Christ stands on real history, not human invention. God confirmed the gospel through eyewitnesses who saw the risen Jesus and spoke by the Holy Spirit. Because the same Spirit inspired the prophets and empowered the apostles, the church can trust that God's self-disclosure has always been true. This objective foundation calls every believer to rest in God's power, not in human wisdom.
