Evening — January 19 — Isaiah 53:6

We all like sheep have gone astray, each one has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid upon Him the iniquity of us all. — Isaiah 53:6Every human way leads away from God, and no one's record is clean enough to stand. Even the faithful stumble, so salvation can never rest on our obedience. The only hope is God's own action: the LORD placed all our wandering on the suffering Servant. Your standing before God rests entirely on what Christ carried.
