Evening — January 24 — Genesis 49:11

He ties his donkey to the vine, his colt to the choicest branch. He washes his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. — Genesis 49:11Jacob's blessing of Judah points to Christ, the true Vine, who fulfills the vineyard's hope. Israel became a wild vine despite the Lord's loving care, producing rotten grapes. Jesus is the true Vine, and those joined to Him bear fruit through His life as the Father tends them.
