Evening — January 26 — Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, — Philippians 3:20-21Christians are citizens of heaven, so we wait for Jesus to return and transform us into His likeness. The glory of the Lord, glimpsed in Ezekiel's vision and revealed in Christ, is now at work in us through the Spirit. From one degree of glory to another, God is remaking us, and this work will finish when we see Him face to face. Our final hope is not an idea but a Person: the Savior who will make us like Himself.
