Evening — January 27 — Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live, — Deuteronomy 30:19God's clear Word leaves every person accountable with no excuse before His judgment. Yet that same Word reveals the Father's heart, who takes no pleasure in anyone's death and offers His Son as the only path to life. The law exposes our helpless slavery to sin, driving us to rest entirely on the gift of righteousness in Christ. Because the stakes are eternal, faith in Jesus is the urgent and only safe response.
