Evening — July 20 — Proverbs 15:15

All the days of the oppressed are bad, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast. — Proverbs 15:15The Lord watches over your going out and your coming in, from this time forth and forevermore. This psalm of ascent was sung by pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem, and it's still true for every pilgrim today. You're never outside His care. Every step you take is under the watchful eye of the Keeper of Israel who never slumbers. That's not a small comfort — it's everything.
