Evening — July 26 — Psalm 97:12

Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His holy name. — Psalm 97:12A hot temper doesn't make you strong; it makes you weak. Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but a hasty temper exalts folly. Slow anger isn't the same as no anger — it's anger that's measured, controlled, and submitted to wisdom. James says the same thing: be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. That's not natural, but it's what the Spirit produces in you.
