Evening — July 27 — Psalm 18:39

from Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional · host Christ Himself Devotional

You have armed me with strength for battle; You have subdued my foes beneath me. — Psalm 18:39John calls you 'beloved' first, before he tells you who you are. Beloved, now we are children of God. Not 'we will be' or 'we hope to be' — now. It doesn't yet appear what we will be, but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. You're already in the family.
