Evening — March 4 — Genesis 49:15

He saw that his resting place was good and that his land was pleasant, so he bent his shoulder to the burden and submitted to labor as a servant. — Genesis 49:15True rest comes when we yield our will to God's sovereign purposes. Christ's finished work frees us from fear, so our labor becomes an offering of worship instead of a struggle for worth. Because the Burden-Bearer has carried our sorrows, we can trust that His gentle yoke sustains us through every affliction.
