Evening — May 17 — Psalm 89:19

You once spoke in a vision; to Your godly ones You said, “I have bestowed help on a warrior; I have exalted one chosen from the people. — Psalm 89:19This finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, the Son of Man who is also the Son of God. He took not on Him the nature of angels, but the seed of Abraham—He is one of us, yet exalted above all. Though He was in the form of God, He emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, and God has highly exalted Him. The chosen One out of the people is the Savior of the people.
