Evening — May 8 — Isaiah 62:6
from Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional · host Christ Himself Devotional
On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD shall take no rest for yourselves, — Isaiah 62:6Prayer joins us to God's own work in history, because Christ prays for us even now. When believers cry out for the kingdom to come, their prayers align with what God has already promised. Such prayer is not weak asking but a bold witness to the finished work of Jesus and the sure return of the King.
