Evening — November 23 — John 18:36

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now My kingdom is not of this realm.” — John 18:36My kingdom is not of this world. Jesus said this standing before pilate, hands bound, crown of thorns dripping blood—and he was right. His kingdom doesn't come through political power or earthly armies. He sat down at the right hand of God after making purification for sins, and he must reign until all enemies are under his feet. Every knee will bow. He is king of kings and Lord of lords. His kingdom is invisible now but will be undeniable then. Don't build your hopes on earthly kingdoms; they're all passing away.
