Evening — September 12 — Psalm 118:7

The LORD is on my side; He is my helper. Therefore I will look in triumph on those who hate me. — Psalm 118:7The Lord takes my part—that changes everything, because if God is for us, who can be against us? He is your help and your shield, and when the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord raises a standard against him. God won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, and even if you face the furnace like shadrach, meshach, and abednego, the one who walks with you in the fire has already won—with the Lord on your side, you don't need to fear what man can do.
