every leaf bows down to the one who created it, so why aren't you?

from The Alma Y Tierra Podcast · host Claudia Howick

hello sweet souls and welcome back to the Alma Y Tierra podcast. this episode was inspired by an internal monologue that i had on today's sunrise walk in the forest (and that i definitely spoke aloud bc no-one was around...)i used to worship nature and it made life easier... until it got harder. it "allowed" me to make up my own rules, to be the master of my own life and it grounded me... until i returned home and i would feel utterly uprooted... oh, the irony...the truth that i now know is that God alone is my fortress; connecting with nature is a beautiful way to calm one's nervous system, to create a wonderfully positive physiological response in the body and cultivate clarity... BUT, without a foundation of knowing God, the fortress that we are surrounded by is false and governed by a darker entity that does not want us to know Him.the reality is that nature is not God, but it is an amazing embodiment, outside of human example, of 'thy will be done'. if you are still worshiping nature and giving your whole self to the elements and the natural world around you... i beg you to consider - what is nature actually telling you? because, if you're really listening, you'll hear it enjoining you to worship the one who made it. this is the real, godly, meaning of oneness.Scripture referenced: Psalm 95.Connect with me.love, blessings and light,Claudia.
