It's because the answers to most of the questions you have around your business, depend on who you're targeting. Most things can be done in a much more targeted and efficient way when you're clear about who your offer (product, service, software or other) best serves. Everyone-itis is what I refer to as the disease of creating an offer targeted to towards everyone. Most businesses that suffer from it are at best struggling and sluggish.
