Primarily due to my friendship with Jackie Smit and his excellent podcast, Into the Necrosphere, I have learned about a whole host of excellent bands that somehow exist below the radar of most people.  This week’s guest, Evan Hopper is one such musician and his band Quell is excellent. Totally independent and dedicated, Quell is the essence of modern black metal. Evan and I went deep on this episode; it was epic so strap in and enjoy.
