EWB 396 FROM THE VAULT: Herzog's Bad Lieutenant

This week we’re going back a few years, back to the Vault.  Randy Larsen and I were doing a sub-series called Road to Ruin where we discussed records and movies that we iconic to us.  Apparently, doing Werner Herzog’s Bad Lieutenant was my idea.  Abel Ferrara’s grimey, depraved exploration of a NYC detective’s descent into darkness is one of my all-time favorite movies of the 90”s.   But what about Herzog’s version?   Intro:    “All the Dark Things” – Mike Hill Outro: “Tokyo Express” – Die Haute feat.
