Carroll, CNP, APRN, MSN, begin by discussing the landmark EMERALD study that led to FDA approval of elacestrant, the first oral selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD) for treatment of hormone receptor–positive/HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer.
