Exploring Memory & Trauma

from Rapid Realization Podcast · host Dr. Ann Marie Balkanski

Episode # 29 -  Memory & Trauma. Memory is stored in the subconscious mind primarily. The subconscious mind is like the hard drive of a computer. The subconscious mind does not know from fact to fiction and therefore we can even react from trauma held in the body or the subconscious mind as if it is happening in "real" life. So although we may know consciously an experience is no longer happening - simply the recall creates an image which subconscious does not know if it is now or past.Creating memory is done by a mixture of1) Fact 2) Perception & Emotional state3) ConfabulationWhen it comes to trauma the emotions are intense so the memory could be deeply programmed. The more intense the emotion is the more deeply the memory is impressed. To heal past memories or trauma we can use techniques with facilitators or on our own if we feel comfortable to do so: 1) Disassociate / become the observer to find what you need to change the story2) Check in with body to see if a change or shift has occurred  -NEW PROGRAM LAUNCH DATE : 02/14/2022 To become a founding member for The Realization Network go to the link - https://www.rapidrealization.com/realization-networkConnect on social mediaInstagram -  https://www.instagram.com/annbalkanskiTwitter - https://twitter.com/annbalkanskiVisit our website - https://www.rapidrealization.comSupport the Show.
