EYE ON NPI - C&K's KLS Series Illuminated Pushbuttons

This week's EYE ON NPI video is very illuminating! It's the C&K KLS Series Illuminated Pushbutton series. (https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/c/ck-components/kls-series-illuminated-pushbutton) These very handsome buttons are clicky, glowy and come in a few different configurations depending on customer needs. The switches come in either SPDT or DPDT type, both momentary and latching on/off type, and with concave, flat or large flat clear tops. All of the ones available for purchase contain both red and green LEDs, so the front can be lit red, yellow or green. Note that there are 3 parallel LED inside, so you need 60mA per LED segment, (https://learn.adafruit.com/all-about-leds) but the front does illuminate nice and evenly which is something cheaper buttons struggle with. The tops are also easily removable, so you can put a label underneath, and they're nice crystal clear, so you'll get nice even illumination with an easy-to-clean cover.
