FAITH, CULTURE, AND THE MIDTERMS: CHRISTIANS FACE A DEFINING MOMENT | SUNDAY: THE ROAD FORWARD SEPTEMBER 19TH , 2026

On this edition of Sunday: The Road Forward, Dr. Tim Clinton is joined by Gary Bauer, president of American Values and senior vice president for public policy at the Dr. James Dobson Family Institute, for a wide-ranging discussion on faith, culture, and the approaching midterm elections. Bauer and Clinton discuss the political environment surrounding the midterms, including economic pressures, the continuing war in Iran, key Senate races in Texas and Michigan, and the challenge of mobilizing Christian voters around their convictions and biblical principles. The conversation emphasizes the role of the church, the pulpit, and individual communities in shaping America's cultural and civic future. The program also addresses broader concerns about abortion, euthanasia, political violence, mental health, and what the guests describe as a growing cultural struggle over the value of human life. Dr. Clinton points viewers back to faith, prayer, and Matthew 6:33 as a foundation for navigating a turbulent moment in America.
