Like sending grain across dangerous seas, faith requires us to invest everything God has given us - our time, talents, and treasure - rather than hoarding them safely. We can't reap what we never sow, and waiting for perfect conditions means we'll never act. True joy comes from generous living, faithful work, and trusting God with our investments, knowing that kingdom returns may not be financial but eternal.
