Fakhthal al-Zaman

Using the S-4 as a looper, I recorded some sounds from the Prophet-10, the Machinedrum, and the Osmose, then warped them more or less subtly. On top of that, I crafted a very minimal beat with the Machinedrum. During the recording, I tweaked a few parameters on the S-4 and shifted pitches. The Super Locrian scale worked really well for this. The Erica Synths Acidbox III and the TC Electronic M3000 added some serious flavor to the sound at times, while the IGS Volf gave the Machinedrum some extra punch. In a second pass, I improvised a bowed pad on the Osmose.
