The United States and Iran have signed a landmark interim agreement aimed at ending months of a devastating war. Speaking at the G7 summit in France, US president, Donald Trump says he wants Iran to honour the agreement, while threatening severe consequences for any violations. Iranian officials have hailed the deal as a diplomatic victory, saying negotiations have achieved far more than military action.
