Fasting Fear - Day 2
from Encounter Tribe Hosted by Encounter Tribe
100 Day Fast of Fear – Day 2 Good morning and thank you for joining me on Day 2! Yesterday was Day 1, and honestly… it was a wrestle. The biggest challenge for me? Just standing in faith and believing that God really did ask me to do this. I had all the thoughts: “What did I just commit to?” “This is too much.” “I don’t know if I can do this publicly.” “What are people going to think or say?” But at the end of the day—I did it. I stepped out in obedience to what I truly believe God put on my heart. And that felt amazing. God is so kind. He knows how to comfort us in our fear and confirm His word. This morning, I turned around in my office and saw something that must’ve fallen out of a cabinet—no idea when. It was a little booklet someone gave me a while ago, and the title? “Do It Afraid: Embracing Courage in the Face of Fear” by Joyce Meyer. I hadn’t even read it yet. But the timing of seeing it today? Only God. 🙌 If you’re joining me on this journey—even if today is your Day 1—I’m so glad you’re here. We are choosing to fast fear and walk forward in faith, together. Let’s keep going. Fear doesn’t get the final say. Check me out on Instagram for Daily posting and video as well.
