How many times do people believe the creator of the universe is so far away? God is all about relationship and intimacy. He created us and knew us before we were even born (Psalm 139). He desires that we would know HIM. We have scripture to hear him, He speaks in the still small voice, and we have our heart screen or our imagination that God can use to encounter HIM. Father God is completely accessible through Jesus Christ (John 14:6-10). This podcast is all about Encountering God through soaking, scripture, intimacy and relationship. Testimony Update from Day 30: When Obedience Meets God’s Perfect Timing

When God Says “Move”: A Testimony of Obedience and Perfect TimingIn Day 30 of this journey, I shared how the Lord asked our family to place our home on the market—not immediately, but in early fall. It was an invitation to trust Him with timing, provision, and obedience before we could see the outcome.Today, I’m sharing the update. In under30 days, our home was under contract. And in the coming weeks, we’ll be physically moving—just as He said. This episode is a testimony of God’s faithfulness when we respond with obedience. Not rushed. Not forced. Simply listening, trusting, and saying yes when He asks. God is faithful to complete what He begins, and He honors surrendered steps taken in trust. If God has asked you to obey Him in something that feels uncertain—this testimony is for you. Let it encourage you to trust His voice, His timing, and His faithfulness over your fear.📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”— Proverbs 3:5–6✨ Encounter Tribe is a space for real faith, honest obedience, and walking with God in everyday life. #encountertribe #fastingfear #godspeakstoyou #spiritualgrowth #faithoverfear #love #christianpodcast #prayer #fastingandfaith #faithjourney

Day 99 – When God Confronts Our False Beliefs With Love & Freedom

On Day 99 of 100 Days Fasting Fear, I open up about a deeply personal journey I’ve been walking through—one I didn’t even realize was keeping me bound. For months, I had a strong resistance to a certain area we were considering moving to. I didn’t like it, didn’t want it, and shut the door in my heart before I ever asked God about it.But the Lord, in His kindness, began to confront the false beliefs, lies, and trapped emotions that were shaping my “no.” Through community, prayer, and conversation, God started highlighting that my resistance wasn’t about the location at all—it was about what was happening inside of me.This week, I felt the Holy Spirit invite me to take a drive to that area—not to decide anything, but simply to face what was living in my heart. As I drove, God gently unraveled the lies that had been holding me in fear and showed me the freedom He wanted me to step into. Whether we move there or not, He wanted to heal what was hindering me from receiving His direction with an open, surrendered heart.Today I share how God used community, honesty, and His love to realign my heart and confront my false beliefs with freedom. If you’re wrestling with resistance, fear of change, or emotions you can’t explain, this episode will speak to you.God’s love confronts not to shame us, but to free us.And I’m so grateful He doesn’t leave us stuck.Let’s keep surrendering together. One more day to go. 💛—Colette / Encounter Tribe

🌿 Day 98 – The Father’s Voice in the Word

Today I share something tender that happened while a friend read Scripture to me. I found myself trying too hard to thinkabout what God was saying—stuck in my head, analyzing, instead of simply receiving. In that moment, Father God gave me an image: He invited me to climb onto His lap while He read the Scripture to me. I could feel His excitement, His love, and His joy in every word. The passage came alive—not just in my mind, but in my heart. This is my encouragement for you today: when you listen to the Word, invite Holy Spirit to engage your heart imagination. Let Him show you His tone, His expression, His delight as He speaks through Scripture. The Word isn’t just meant to be studied—it’s meant to be experienced.📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105✨ Try it today—listen with your heart, not just your head.#EncounterTribe #FastingFear #Day98 #GodsWordAlive #IntimacyWithGod #FaithJourney #100DaysFastingFear

You are not disqualified. You can still finish.Scripture of the Day:“Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)I am committing to finish these last few days with intention—and I invite you to do the same in your own journey.#EncounterTribe #Day97 #FastingFear #FinishStrong #Philippians16 #godisfaithful #FaithInAction #KeepGoing

We don’t have to chase love — we get to live from it. 💗Today’s episode is a gentle reminder that you were already loved before you ever tried to earn it.God’s love isn’t a finish line you strive for; it’s the foundation you start from.Join me as we pause the striving and breathe in truth again:“Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ…” — Ephesians 1:4-5Let this episode wash over your heart as you release the need to perform, prove, or perfect — and return to peace, fullness, and belovedness.🎧 Listen, reflect, and speak today’s affirmation aloud:“I am already loved. Day 95: Affirmations of Identity

🌿 Day 95 – Affirmations of Identity | Encounter TribeIn today’s reflection, I slow down to speak directly to your heart. 💛I’m sorry if no one has taken the time to truly listen to you… to remind you that your voice matters, that your heart matters, and that you matter. So many of us have carried words that wounded us — labels, rejection, silence — and we began to believe we were less than who God says we are.But today, I want to stand in that space with you and remind you: You are deeply loved.God’s love for you is unconditional. It doesn’t shift with your mistakes or moods. It doesn’t depend on your performance. His love is steady, patient, and personal. This is an invitation to release the old voices that told you “you’re not enough,” and to remember who you truly are — a beloved child of God, chosen and seen.🕊️ Take these affirmations in slowly. Day 94 | Treasure in Common Clay

2 Corinthians 4:7 has been one of the anchor scriptures of my life.I used to believe that if I could just fit in, then I would finally belong — but God gently showed me that I was never meant to blend. I was meant to carry something sacred. We are the jar… He is the treasure. The power, the impact, the beauty — none of it comes from us, but from the glory within us. That truth set me free. I don’t have to be polished or perfect to be useful in the Kingdom. I only have to stay yielded. This fast has reminded me again that the cracks in the clay are not shameful — they are the very places His light shines through. If you have ever felt ordinary, unseen, or “outside,” may this encourage you:You are set apart not because of what you do, but because of what you carry.Your belonging is not in a circle or a crowd — it is in Him.#FastWithGod #FastingJourney #FastingFear #EncounterTribe #ClayJars #TreasureInEarthenVessels #2Corinthians47 #GloryToGod #JesusBeTheTreasure #IdentityInChrist #SetApartNotSetAside #GodIsMyStrength #ChristianEncouragement #KingdomMindset #SpiritualGrowth #FaithOverFear #WomenOfFaith #ChristianShorts #DailyDevotion #HolySpiritLead

When Fear Wears the Mask of Anger| Day 93 Fasting Fear

Welcome to Day 93 of our 100 Days Fasting Fear journey with Encounter Tribe! 💫Today we’re diving into the deep connection between fear and anger — how anger often shows up when fear goes unacknowledged. Sometimes what looks like frustration, control, or even rage is actually fear wearing a mask — fear of rejection, fear of loss, fear of losing control, or fear of being hurt again. When we pause long enough to ask, “What fear is underneath my anger?” — we open the door for God to heal at the root. 🙏Scripture reminds us:“Be slow to anger… for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” – James 1:19–20“Perfect love casts out fear.” – 1 John 4:18As His perfect love fills those fearful places, anger loses its grip — and peace takes its place. 💖Let God uncover what’s really beneath the surface today. Fear doesn’t have to rule your reactions — love can. 🌿#EncounterTribe #FastingFear #FaithOverFear #InnerHealing #MindBodySpirit #ChristianCommunity #FearToFaith

These last few days I’ve been quiet, and honestly—I’ve struggled. Day 86– Unraveling Perfectionism

Today I shared something big — I just pulled my son out of school and we’re stepping into homeschooling for now. It’s been a whirlwind of research, planning, and more research… but God revealed something to me in the middle of all that striving. So much of that endless searching came from fear — the fear that it wouldn’t be perfect, that there might be something better out there, that I might not do it “right.”But God is gently teaching me to trust. To trust that what I’m doing is enough. To trust that my effort, my love, and my intention are beautiful offerings. And to trust that my little guy is going to thrive. If something needs to shift, God will show us — and we’ll adjust. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be led by peace and obedience.Another layer of fasting fear and unraveling perfectionism — one day at a time. 💛✨#EncounterTribe #FastingFear #CourageousFaith #HomeschoolJourney #FaithOverFear #PerfectionismToPeace

Welcome to Day 82 of our 100 Days of Fasting Fear! 🙌Today we look at Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20. When Moab and Ammon came against Judah, fear rose up—but Jehoshaphat’s response was to seek the Lord and call a fast. All of Judah joined in, confessing their weakness but declaring their faith that God could handle the battle. Then came the word of the Lord:“Do not be afraid or dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.” (v. 15)God told them they wouldn’t even need to fight—just stand firm, hold their position, and watch His salvation unfold. In faith, they worshiped before the battle began, and the next day God gave them complete victory.Jehoshaphat’s story reminds us: when fear comes, faith responds by seeking God, trusting His word, and praising Him in advance. 💪🔥Courageous Faith: learning from those who overcame fear, so we can too.#EncounterTribe #FastingFear #Day82 #YesToFaith #FearlessFaith #Jehoshaphat

We have had a lot of talk overcoming fear through love, especially on day 59 when I had special guest Kate Miraglia on. She is a life coach and knows how to help people rewire their brains from fear to love so I recommend you go back and listen to that one if you missed it. Today’s episode is on discussing how fear is not inside reality most times, it is some ideas that we allow to run through our minds. Allowing Holy Spirit to help us to find truth and love in those moments to give us freedom. I was obedient today to make sound with the shofar to release freedom over all of us because that is what I felt like God ask of me. I struggle to make noise on it but I believe it is powerful obedience and it went out to do what it was commissioned to do! I pray love breaks every place of fear over your lives! Thank you YESHUA!

The Sound That Honors God: Gratitude vs. Complaining (Day 71)

Today marks Day 71 of our 100 Days of Saying No to Fear and Yes to Bold Faith. We’ve entered the 70’s — a 10-day focus on creating purposeful sound. In this episode, we lean into the sound of gratitude over complaining.Complaining drains us, magnifies problems, and distances us from God’s peace. Gratitude, on the other hand, renews our minds, strengthens our spirit, and draws us closer to His presence. Together, let’s explore how gratitude not only transforms our perspective but also honors God in every circumstance.Join me as we trade the negative weight of complaints for the life-giving sound of thanksgiving.

The Power Of Our Words In Sound: Day 70!!!

Today we made it to another threshold at day 70!!! Whohooo!!! 30 days to go is just one month. It is a great time to reflect on your own growth and how much has changed for you in consciously choosing faith over fear. Proverbs 18:21 and Proverbs 4:23 both discuss the power of our tongues, how our lives flow out of the things in our hearts, which create our thoughts, which create our speech. In the next 10 days I challenge you to be aware of what you are saying and if it is blessing or cursing, life or death. Ask Holy Spirit to show you any places he would like you to adjust your the sound of your words and also the deep places of our heart that those words are flowing out of. Over the next 10 days we will go over things like the sound of complaining vs gratitude, victim vs victorious and hoping God has us creating some sounds with music also!!

God Walked Me Out Of Fear Today: Day 68 Bold Faith

Today we are on our 68th day of saying no to fear and walking out bold faith. I hope that you are doing the same in your own life and choosing faith over fear. I share today on two situations I had arise where God asked me to speak with him about the problem and not go to other people. He gave me solutions and helped me to be straightforward, honest and just trust it will all work out. It did and I’m so grateful God walked me through the freeze feeling and desire to flee and avoid and helped me share with honesty and respect regardless of results. It wasn’t easy but God gave me so much peace! 💕

Asking God to Open Our Spiritual Eyes: Day 65 Bold Faith, No Fear

If you have ever wanted to have your spiritual eyes opened, today I am going to pray for you! I am reading scripture on eyes being opened, especially 2 Kings 6:17 where Elisha is praying for his servant ,who is totally afraid and in fear, for God to open his eyes so he will no longer fear because he sees how God has an army working on their behalf. With vision, we can see God’s perspective so we can boldly walk out faith. Other scripture is Ephesians 1:17-18, Isaiah 32:3, Psalm 119:18 and Psalm 146:8. All we have to do is received the gift Jesus paid for and then activate it to ask the Lord to show you something! Don’t miss this opportunity to be prayed over!

God Uses Disruption For Awareness: Day 64

As we walk out of fear and into bold faith, God has been asking me to share on ways to become more aware of his presence. One way I am sharing on today is disruptions that God utilizes to get our attention. Sometimes it is a tool to expose idols, triggers, areas of fear, and lies so we can be free! It can be a way to use creative problem solving. It can deepen out character and our faith. Lastly, it can help realign us to our purpose! Listen in as I share more about disruptions. I pray over us at the end to give the Lord permission to disrupt our lives for our benefit, as well as his kingdom plans! I highly recommend whether you listen or not, that you would journal this question today!Q. God, please show me at least one instance that you have used disruption to create awareness in me of your presence and your speaking? Help me see how it benefited me.

Slowing Down for short moments to Tune into God’s Presence: Day 63

I messed up and said day 62 today in my recording 🤣 I guess I am tired and need to slow down! Hehe. Today is short but I mention how to make one minute to a couple minute spaces of time to quiet yourself, tune into the Lord and take some deep breathes and see how God wants to meet you in your day! There will be more tomorrow on how to be more aware of God’s presence for you! 💙

How To Hear God Speaking Day 62 Walking In Faith Not Fear

My sister, Kristin santizo, and I partner in a ministry called The Retreat Sisters, and one of the primary messages God has my sister speak about for that ministry, as well as others, is God wants to talk to you! That just ONE word can heal hearts in an instant. Her passion is teaching a simple way on how to hear God speaking. Kristin and I both originally learned this method from Mark Virkler from Communion with God ministries and I highly recommend his whole series on the topic that goes so in depth! Another reference Kristin talked about was God speaking through dreams and two people we love to learn from are John Paul Jackson with Youtube and unlocking your dreams.com and the Book The Ultimate Guide To Understanding The Dreams You Dream by Ira Milligan. These are biblical dream references to help you unlock what God is saying to you.

Shifting & Alignment Season Day 60 of Bold Faith

In today’s episode God had it on my heart to use the next 10 days to focus on awareness of his presence. I am also discussing the significance of God shifting us and our lives into alignment with what is best for us in this new season. I share all the areas, which feel like all of them, that God is shifting for my very best future. At the end, I read Psalm 27 over you so you can receive all God has for you inside that scripture.

Frustration When Things Don’t Go Right on Day 58 Of Saying No To Fear

It was super frustrating today, because my plans just didn’t go according to expectations. When it’s supposed to be an interview, but you have to record on your own…I definitely wanted my expectations to be met which opens the battle of the emotions that arise! The emotions seem to stem from fear. During this recording, God showed me I wanted it to look like everything was perfect. Frustrated I had imperfection to post in its place. Obviously, fear is part of that judgement to have to look all perfectly put together when the reality is I am not. After which I realized I choose authentic over perfect because I love being real. I hope that gives you permission to be authentic and imperfect too 🦋

ABOUT THIS SHOW

How many times do people believe the creator of the universe is so far away? God is all about relationship and intimacy. He created us and knew us before we were even born (Psalm 139). He desires that we would know HIM. We have scripture to hear him, He speaks in the still small voice, and we have our heart screen or our imagination that God can use to encounter HIM. Father God is completely accessible through Jesus Christ (John 14:6-10). This podcast is all about Encountering God through soaking, scripture, intimacy and relationship. Join us on this journey and listen in!
