Technically, my life didn't start out fatherless. A lot of people grew up in a house where a father was in it but not involved in a healthy way. That was mine, he made sure he checked the boxes of what he assumed a man was. I never got a chance to ask him, who taught you how to show up as a man? Who were the examples you had of what it took to be a dad? My dad passed when I was 18... my saddest moments about him happened 3 years prior.I can speak on this topic very well, I hope fathers who want better for their kids choose different.
