Today, Jill shares four practical tweaks she's been making to her email marketing strategy to adapt to shorter attention spans and busier inboxes: keeping emails shorter overall (especially promotional ones), limiting paragraphs to no more than three lines, using more direct language with less backstory and context, and including a clear call to action in every email to "train the click." While longer, story-driven emails still have a place, the majority of emails, particularly those driving people to opt-in or sales pages, should be short, punchy, and to the point.
