Fear Itself Session 22-2 (Lets Take a Stroll)

from Legends of Tabletop Podcast · host Legends of Tabletop

Jack Crandall – Brett Randy Anders – Kurt Erin Shaughnessy – John GM – Neil Jack enters the lake house and he and Erin move aside the floorboards and head down into the tunnel. It transitions quickly from wood to stone and as they get further down it opens up a bit. At the bottom it ends at a stone archway and inside is a room covered with runes, pentagrams and other arcane sigils as well as an altar covered in candles. Jack uses his phone to take video and pictures and then they head back out. Randy reports everything being quiet while he was waiting and they start back towards the hotel. On the way back Erin and Jack hear the cracking of a falling tree and are narrowly able to escape, pulling Randy out of the way, as a tree crashes across the path. Jumping back to their feet, they see a person in a black parka running away. When they investigate the tree it appears that the tree had the life sucked out of it. The tree looks otherwise healthy but it has weird black veins and unnatural rot at it’s base. They take some pictures and text Wyatt on the way back into the hotel. Surprisingly they skip lunch and try to relax at the pool and sauna. Later in the afternoon they head into town to meet with Wyatt and share all of the information with him and have him help with the investigation. https://squareup.com/store/thing-12-games Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/
