Friends of the Rosary,In today’s Gospel of Matthew (Matt 5:13-16), Christ himself calls his disciples to be the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.”Christ Jesus was and is the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Now, after the Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mountain, he is putting his true followers on almost a level with himself.The Son of God gave us the knowledge of the true nature of God, as shown by the Incarnation.
