Before Pentecost, the disciples cast lots to make important decisions, trusting God to guide the outcome. But after the Holy Spirit was poured out, we never see them return to that practice. Why? Because they were no longer relying on chance—they were being led by the Spirit.Drawing from Genesis 1, we also discover the rich Hebrew meaning of tov ("good"). When God declared creation good, He wasn't simply saying it was pleasant—He was recognizing that it was functioning according to His design and purpose. The same is true for us.
