During my engineering degree, I had the privilege to perform some research in Mexico, at the Micro and Nano Technology Research Center (MICRONA) in the Bio nanotechnology Laboratory from 2013 to 2014. Furthermore, in the Summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to be part of a Summer Research Program for Undergraduate Students at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, California) in the Biomedical Engineering Department, performing research in the Biomedical Microsystems Laboratory. After completing my Bachelor in Science, I worked at the only Nuclear Power Plant in Mexico as a Nuclear Technician at the Department of Instrumentation and Control for a few months previously to obtaining a Fulbright Scholarship and applying to Graduate School in the United States.
