FFT EP3 - Health Insurance Incentive Scheme

from Own Your Eating · host Jason Ackerman

In today's FFT bonus episode, we discuss health insurance premiums and incentives. Do you think we should be incentivized to take better care of ourselves? There's no denying that working out and eating right does wonders for you body. In fact, we firmly believe it's what keeps us out of hospitals and doctor's offices more than most people. And yet, because the cost of healthcare is SO exorbitant, we pay for health insurance "just in case", god forbid, something truly awful does happen to either one of us.  Health insurance premiums are a colossal investment, on top of the cost of gym membership fees and eating good quality food and quite frankly we don't think it's right! We think the Government should do something about this and help incentivize others to take better care of themselves. What are your thoughts?   Other tangent topics discussed include: Teachers and teacher's pay The Great Hack - if you haven't seen it on Netflix yet, watch it!
