Finding Balance: Navigating Motherhood and Entrepreneurship with Yamel Belen

Yamel Belen, a Pediatric-specialized RN, Doula, and Board Certified Lactation Counselor, traces her journey in birth work to supporting her mother at an almost home birth when she was 10 years old. Certified as a doula in 2013, she swiftly transitioned from a solo practice to leading a collaborative effort with a team of birth and postpartum professionals at One Love Doula Services. Yamel expanded her reach with the 2024 launch of One Love Nanny Services, a sister company to One Love Doula Services in an effort to hold hands for a bit more time with the families she and her team serve. Besides client support, she has showcased leadership in the Tampa Bay Birth Network and Advisory Board Member of Parents Magazine. Her dedication to maternal well-being shines through "The Motherhood Kit Podcast," launched in March 2023, dedicated to uplifting and celebrating motherhood.
