Finding Joy Through Humility (Proverbs 11:2; 15:33; 22:4)

What does true humility actually look like? In this sermon, we explore how biblical humility is not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. Drawing from the truths found in Proverbs, we see that humility is rooted in a right understanding of God and ourselves.  And most of all, we find that Proverbs point to the greatest humility found in the Gospel.  Christ humbled Himself to save sinners so that we may be transformed to right relationships with God.  This Gospel calls for us to lay down our pride at the cross to start down path of wisdom and fear of the Lord, all to have us walk humbly in joy for all of eternity.
