Finding the Courage to Drop the Doctor Title - Giving up my Naturopathic Doctor License

Do you ever think about changing your career path? How about dropping a professional title that you have worked hard for? In this episode I share something super vulnerable. After 5 years of studying and training to be a Naturopathic Doctor and then a few years in practice, I have officially surrendered my license - WOAH.  This isn't a decision I took lightly.  This episode dives into many of the thoughts, emotions and feelings that were part of this major decision.  I also divulge the exact moment (in a professional development weekend) where I decided - it is time to let it go.  This episode also shares one of the most commonly expressed reasons as to why people don't want to give up a title and some ways to think differently about it.  Posting this episode feels surreal.  While some feelings are bittersweet, this was also one of the easiest decisions of my life. I no longer live my life in pros and cons lists, it just has to be a soul-filled yes or no leading the charge and the trust that the other details will sort themselves out.
