FIRST RS MAIN LINE EPISODE: SOUTHERN RAILWAY EP. 1 BRANCH LINES

Welcome to a new season of Revival Steam. We are now taking to the Main Line and will start by imagining steam locomotives on the Southern Railway. We will imagine taking a Labor Day weekend trip to Tennessee and North Carolina to witness branch-line steam action. We will start with switching action in Chattanooga, TN. We will witness 2-8-0s and Mikado locomotives on the Murphy branch owned by the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad and the Blue Ridge Southern Railway. We will also visit places like Asheville, Hendersonville, and Winston Salem, NC, to hear newly built tribute and next-in-class locomotives roaming the same rails their predecessors had traveled on 80 to 90 years ago.
